Free one-day workshop: optical measurement of engineered surfaces

Join the University of Birmingham and Alicona, specialists in optical 3D metrology, for this free one-day workshop on 6th July. Professor Stefan Dimov will be on hand, with topics covered including machine closed loop measurement, the modern approach to shot peening as a finishing technique and the role of the National Physical Laboratory in Surface Engineering. Practical demonstrations of both on machine and free standing measurements will be available after the morning's session, with lunch also provided.

The event will take place in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham, B15 2TT.
